Thursdays March 13th - April 10th Dinner 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Classes 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. The Movie Class (Creekside) Team-led by Pastor Dave Samelson, Pastor Dirk Damonte, and Kyle Aiken-Forderer Each week one of this year’s Academy Award Best Picture nominees will be shown (clips) and discussed. March 13 Conclave March 20 Nickel Boys March 27 A Complete Unknown April 3 The Brutalist April 10 Wicked Creative Kids with Ms. Sharon (Children’s Center) Make music and dance with award-winning children’s musician Charity Kahn of Charity and the JAMBand. We’ll end the evening with a soothing mindfulness practice. For kids ages 3-10. Childcare for infants and toddlers will be available. Illuminating Faith: A Lenten Journey of Scripture and Reflection Led by Pastor Jeong (Sequoia Room) This Bible Study will focus on Discipleship as defined by the words of Jesus in the gospels. Candlelight Yoga and Mindfulness by Cristina McHugh (Youth Center) This all-level class welcomes adults of all ages, whether you are new to yoga or a seasoned yogi. The goal of the class is to help you wind down from the day and get ready for a restful sleep - physically and mentally. The practice will include grounding movements, gentle stretching, breathing awareness and mindfulness exercises. Modifications are offered and props will be available. NEW! Intergenerational Lenten Study: The Deepest Wound: Exploring Betrayal, Forgiveness and Resurrection in Lent This 3-week study in coordination with Christ Episcopal Church and Foothills Congregational will meet at the Los Altos Community Center, 97 Hillview Ave, Los Altos on March 13, March 27 and April 10 for potluck supper followed by the program.
